I worked with the Southern Foodways Alliance to created the cover and a handful of interior illustrations for multiple issues of their quarterly magazine, Gravy. The Spring 2021 issue covered stories about the disappearance of Apalachicola’s storied oysters a feature on famed Houston chef Jonny Rhodes, the Winter 2022 issue tackled black fishing culture, and the Summer 2022 issue was all about black multi-generational food traditions.
